Oh shit! They knew each other! Isn't that cute? Reunited in the next life.

FRIENDSHIP!

Welfin, while this is badass, are you trying to get smacked? Cause you're about to get smacked.

Even in this situation his power still looks silly to me.

Top 10 anime nosebleeds

I can't get enough of the faces Meruem makes. He's very expressive.

I like to imagine all his stank faces are directed at Pouf.

RIP Youpi. It's actually kinda sad to see him lying dead like that. He's so small.

RIP Madoyoupi, he was dumb then a bro then kinda dumb again but he had his broments.

While everyone else was outside, Meruem was playing with himself.

Y'know I never thought of that but you're right. Tonpa has actually met most of this story's greatest heroes and villians just by taking the exam every year.

I can't stop imagining him with the loading symbol next to him, like in the video you shared yesterday. It makes all those moments with Meruem trying to remember something a lot funnier.

While everyone else was outside, Meruem was playing with himself.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS! GET FUCKED YOU PUNK ASS BITCH! FUCKING DIE ALREADY!

This is the only appropriate response to the possibly of Pouf dying. It will be oh so satisfying to watch.

This is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing it.

OOOOH WA AH AH AH!

the nose scrunch is oddly cute

so petty with the whole thing but then Tonpa shows a bit of decency and Leorio becomes willing to let him pass, but well, Tonpa’s shtick is that he never passes so he ain’t gonna pass this one either.

the worst thing you could do to tonpa is make him pass the exam

First Timer

Link to past threads/previously used pro wrestling terms .

Finals are this week, so these posts in the future might be a lot shorter.

  • So Welfin is found in the back of a truck, and Ikalgo talks to him and brings up Gyro and they used to be friends as humans. Must have been the absolute best of friends to remember his name before your own. But the main thing he drilled in was that the ants were the enemy to NGL, whose initials I have not heard for a while. I’m really glad so far into this arc even the minor stuff at the very beginning is playing such an important role here.

  • Speaking of important roles, holy crap I did not call fucking Welfin to be the one to kill Youpi. Like I was wondering what would happen after he told Youpi the information, but to kill him because he can and he’s the new enemy, wow. I mean, it makes sense he won. Welfin under the right circumstances has an insane Nen ability, and Youpi is very weak right now. Still Rip Youpi, least interesting of the Royal Guards, but still became a bro near the end.

  • I like that it hasn’t even crossed Pouf’s mind once that Pitou could be dead. Even the soldiers aren’t working anymore, and yet he’s still oblivious to that fact. The confidence he has in her is staggering.

  • So all of a sudden, Palm says the King will die, and in a couple hours too.

  • Did I miss something and Palm has Nen future sight or something? Like one of her old powers involved a crystal ball, but seriously? Don’t answer that because if she is right I can’t even begin to imagine how it could happen. Maybe it involves Komugi? I don’t know.

  • Or maybe it involves Pouf bleeding at the end. What, do they have a limited lifespan or something? I think I might have accidentally figured out/saw a spoiler on that blood cough, so don’t answer any of these questions.

So today with both Palm deducing that the royal guards are having a dispute and Welfin turning his back on the ants, we got a bunch of internal conflict today. So today's pro wrestling term is breaking up a faction.

P.S. Welfin would have been a fucking wonderful example of a face turn, but no repeats.

Factions/groups in wrestling are great. But every good faction can’t last forever. Usually they choose a couple guys from the group and want to make them singles stars, and they don’t believe that can be done within a group. Or simply the group had run its course and it was time to try something new.

These can be heartbreaking sometimes when beloved groups get split up. The most famous one recently was Seth Rollins breaking up The Shield , who were a badass group of mercenary like wrestlers.

However, they can also be great to see when a good guy is formed by betraying a heel faction. The best example of this was in 2005 when Batista (Yes, Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy) turned on his group Evolution.

Evolution was a group formed by Triple H to groom and take some young stars under his wing. In reality he just wanted them around to help him cheat to win. So then Batista wins this match called the Royal Rumble. If you win the match, you get to challenge for a major title at WrestleMania. Triple H, the leader, held one of 2 major titles, and Batista had to decide which champion to face. Oh, on another note, Batista had just found out that Triple H was just using him this entire time, but Triple H hasn’t found out Batista knows yet. And here is Batista making his decision .

So yeah, people were ecstatic, cause the guy who lead the group they hate got his ass kicked by his own former group member. And yes, Batista did go on to beat Triple H at WrestleMania.

Yeah its impressive to think that they're just that strong. He hasn't even considered that she stopped using her powers because she's dead.

Did I miss something and Palm has Nen future sight or something? Like one of her old powers involved a crystal ball, but seriously? Don’t answer that because if she is right I can’t even begin to imagine how it could happen. Maybe it involves Komugi? I don’t know.

Nah she's just figured out something that we'll learn before the arc is over.

So yeah, people were ecstatic, cause the guy who lead the group they hate got his ass kicked by his own former group member. And yes, Batista did go on to beat Triple H at WrestleMania.

This sounds more than entertaining! Good shit.

On today’s episode of Hunter x Hunter: Wait, have the ants caught the deadly Japanese cold? Is that why they’re all suddenly coughing up blood? How did they catch it? Did they stay out in the rain too long?

Pouf goes around scattering his scales on the East Gorteau citizens. I’m kind of amazed that they’re still around, even with all the fighting and explosions that were going on in the palace. I wonder if any of them saw the Nen barrage on the palace, or the Nen dragon fly off.

Underground, Ikalgo and Palm decide to have a prisoner exchange. They send Welfin to tell Meruem or the Royal Guard that they have Komugi, and want Knuckle and Meleoron in return.

I liked the moment where Ikalgo called Welfin by his former human name. It turns out they were buddies in Gyro’s drug cartel. And this reminds Welfin of how he was friends with Gyro and wants to find Gyro. After all, they survived as ants so Gyro must have as well.

This conversation also reminds me: Gyro. I wonder what happened to Gyro. I assume Gyro became one of the ants, but I don’t think we met him. I’ll assume Gyro becomes important in the future, in some way.

As Welfin leaves the underground, he runs into Youpi. He tells Youpi about Komugi underground, but Welfin does leave. After determining Youpi doesn’t remember being human or a part of the cartel, Welfin actually gets the resolve to fight him. I’m impressed. It looks like Welfin really is loyal to Gyro and will fight those he considers the enemy of Gyro, like the ants.

Damn, Youpi actually got killed. I never would have expected Welfin of all people to kill him. I guess both Youpi and Pouf must now be extremely weak after feeding themselves to Meruem.

Pouf finds Youpi dead and informs Meruem, but Meruem has remembered more. He found a Gungi piece and remembers that he was in a challenge with someone he couldn’t beat. Ha! Screw you, Pouf! Meruem’s remembering on his own. And since Pouf seems to have abandoned the contest, Meruem demands Pouf tell him what he’s holding back.

Back underground. Palm and Ikalgo wonder what to do about Komugi. Palm comes up with an idea. She puts everything together and figures out what’s going on. Komugi is important to Meruem. The Royal Guard, being loyal to Meruem, is split on what to do about her. Some want to protect her while others want to hurt her, but it all comes from a place of loyalty.

Palm decides that Komugi is someone they can use against Meruem. So, she and Ikalgo stick Komugi into a box to keep Meruem from finding her.

Palm also makes a bizarre prediction. She predicts that Meruem is going to die. And, not only that, he’s going to die quite soon.

I have no idea how Palm knows that Meruem is going to die, nor what led her to this conclusion. But, I do think she’s right. Meruem and the Royal Guard have started bleeding and coughing this episode. Obviously, they’re sick with something. But I’m not sure what it is or how they got it.

You saw all those trucks right? We already know the damage one truck can do, well what about MANY TRUCKS? Truly the worst antagonist of them all.

RIP Youpi o7 needed to die for our sake but still rip.

It's explained a bit more in the manga, during Gyro's flashback (this is all before this episode, so technically not spoilers) – Gyro was made into an ant, but managed to overpower his ant nature and escape the nest through his willpower alone. He was last seen in the village where Bisky trained Gon and Killua under Palm's orders, mentioning that he's starting his new empire from scratch.

There was also a line about "him and Gon having an important meeting" which leads many fans to believe he'll be the eventual final boss but that's pure speculation.

[Recap]

Pouf continues to spread his scales across the helpless masses, though he seems to be having a rough time of it. Meanwhile, Ikalgo and Palm ask a captured Welfin to relay a message to the King about their plans to negotiate Komugi for Meleoron and Knuckle. Initially, Welfin is resistant to the idea due to the circumstances at hand. However, Ikalgo gives Welfin a wake-up call by referring back to their previous lives as guards for Gyro. This exchange triggers a change within Welfin, so now he sees the Chimera Ants as the enemies. More specifically, as enemies of Gyro.

After Welfin frees the other girls in the underground complex, he drives outside to be met by Youpi. Welfin relays his message to Youpi, though Youpi believes it a good idea to keep this information to himself due to the contest. Youpi sends his regards to Welfin, saying he'll relay the message before he shoves off. Before Youpi can get out of earshot, though, Welfin asks if Youpi can remember anything from before he became an Ant. Youpi replies that he does before trying to fly off again. Youpi's attention is yet again grabbed, but this time, Welfin is in full attack mode. He demands that Youpi answer his questions, or he will retaliate.

Meruem continues searching the room for any stray clues at all. After flipping over some debris, he comes upon a partly broken Gungi piece. This is enough to trigger his memories of Gungi, as well as an opponent he couldn't defeat. Some time later, Pouf returns to the room to inform Meruem that Youpi was killed by someone nearby. Meruem doesn't seem to care, and only wishes to know about the contest. Pouf is hesitant to continue, leading Meruem to believe that he will win the contest by default. Their exchange after the fact is left unknown.

Back in the complex, Palm rather poorly explains to Ikalgo that everything will be okay because of the conflict going on within the Royal Guard. However, Palm's biggest takeaway from this is that the King is set to die in a few hours. With this in mind, Palm and Ikalgo hide Komugi away in a box somewhere, so that she won't be found before negotiations are set to take place. Meanwhile, as Meruem and Pouf set out to their next destination, Pouf coughs up some blood unexpectedly, causing him to begin panicking.

[Opinion]

Well now, Ikalgo certainly knew how to set Welfin straight. That little slice of back-story was certainly something, and it was enough for Welfin to come to another conclusion about the truth of things. I suppose this is only something that's come up for Ikalgo recently, which is why he didn't tell Welfin earlier. Regardless, it's quite the development with some surprisingly immediate results, as I'll get into in just a bit.

And by “in just a bit,” I actually mean right now because Welfin straight up killed Youpi. We're not really sure why exactly other than Welfin's change of heart, but he certainly did a number to the bastard. This development tells me a number of different things. First, between this and Pouf's difficulty spreading his scales, it goes to show how much weaker the Guards are now that they've used their bodies to revive Meruem. Before the invasion, it seemed that were would be no question that Youpi is stronger than Welfin. However, with Welfin dispatching Youpi with relative ease, it seems as though the Royal Guards are definitely not what they once were.

Second, I've begun to notice a pattern with these deaths. Pitou was the first Royal Guard of the three to die. Initially, she seemed the most savage and bloodthirsty, but by the end, she seemed to be the most caring and compassionate of the Royal Guards. Now, Youpi is the second one to die. Between the three of them, Youpi seems to have remained the constant middle ground for the two. Youpi could be savage if need be, but he appeared to be more objective-oriented at any given time. However, he also seemed to have at least a semblance of honor when he let our heroes go free during their battle. For better or worse, Youpi's morals appeared to change the least.

Now, Pouf is the last one of the Royal Guards alive, and he seems to have made the opposite transformation as Pitou. Initially, Pouf came off as a caring individual, at least as far as the King was concerned. However, when Komugi entered the picture, jealousy consumed him, causing him to become more savage and manipulative. I'm not sure if this pattern is meant to send some sort of message, whether it's about how the morally repugnant seem to survive more often than not, or how the subtle onlooker can appear more dangerous than even the strongest and most savage of fighters, but it's definitely something to consider, nonetheless. If the end shot is any indication, it seems that Pouf will be the next to go, which has me curious as to how he might finally go down.

Overall, solid episode! It's another episode mostly revolving around developments, but that's good, nonetheless! Also, Youpi getting killed off like he did was quite unexpected! And now we wait for Pouf… Take your bets, ladies and gentlemen, take your bets! How will the worst of the Royal Guards kick the bucket?! Personally, my hope is by a giant fucking fly swatter because I love me some irony!

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the /u/Eosteria prediction time and fun fact corner where Zeus wanted to train Kratos to be the perfect warrior and he succeeded! Only three more episodes left to go! We're now 95% of the way done with the Chimera Ant arc! I'm curious as to how they'll tie up a lot of the loose ends of this arc going forward. Kite's still dead, Gon is probably a mess, Killua is once again walking a thousand miles just for Gon, Meruem still needs to remember the truth, Pouf is still alive and that sucks, Jimmy Hoffa has yet to be found, nobody knows how Ayumu and the others will deal with Chris, Guts needed to get off the fucking boat sooner, Togashi is still sick because of course he is, the One Piece is probably in the last place Luffy would ever think to look, Ash still has yet to win a single Pokemon League Championship, the entire story for BlazBlue is still a fucking mess, and the prom's tomorrow! …You know, it just occurred to me that I have a serious problems with letting running jokes run too long for their own good… I'm just going to go onto the predictions before I do anything else ridiculous.

For better or worse, I was pretty wrong this time around because Youpi just died. Also, since we don't know the exact status of the “contest” right now, it's either been called off, or Pouf is just that desperate to buy time. Though, Ikalgo and Palm are still at large, so no dice, regardless.

Next time(?) on episode #…

To be honest, I think what's got me most curious is that there are so many loose ends still hanging, but there's only 3 episodes left. Having a lot of things to tie up would be par for the course if there were still a good number of episodes left, but we're currently sitting at 57 episodes out of 60 completed, and we're still waiting for quite a lot of developments to occur. Makes you wonder…

Will now be tagged as "Gintama" don't worry 😉

You know, for all of the hype surrounding Gintama on r/anime , I barely know thing one about it. As of yet, the only things I know about it are that it's a comedy anime that revolves around taking the piss out of the rest of the anime industry, and that it's longer than the combined total of 100% runs of every Pokemon game ever. Do you think it's worth my time to look into it? I've been debating for months now, and I'm still not sure at all.

I remember thinking that too when I got to this point in the series but for what it's worth, one aspect of this arc that doesn't get criticism is it's ending 😉

Do you think it's worth my time to look into it?

Gintama is a tough one. I'm one of those people who didn't love Gintama right from the get-go so I ended up watching a lot of meh episodes to get to the amazing ones but once I did get to the amazing ones it became one of my favorites. For reference, it took me over a year to finish Gintama (2006) and then three weeks to finish the Gintama', Gintama': Enchousen, Gintama (2015) and Gintama (2017). So I would recommend it but take it at your own pace and don't be surprised to find some rough episodes before it gets legit.

Well, that's something! I'll definitely keep that in mind going forward.

Gintama is a tough one.

The rough beginning is one of the most common complaints I hear thrown toward Gintama, if any complaints are made at all. For someone like me, a rough beginning could be fatal toward my enjoyment of a series. I could see myself giving this a shot, but I'd have to keep that caveat in the back of my head at all times if things were to go sour.

To be fair, after looking at each entry in MAL, with the first "season" being 201 episodes compared to the other 3 seasons and Enchousen being slightly larger than half of that amount, I'm not really surprised by those numbers. The first season is fucking huge!

Anyway, thanks for the recommendation! I'll probably look at getting around to it when I've got just that much time on my hands.

Yeah it's really tough I mean I didn't really hate the beginning but I'm really generous with slow beginnings for a big payoff in the end which I can say definitely happened with Gintama. And it's not like the first season is bad, it just felt like a chore to watch at times which is unfortunate because it really does end up being a fun time.

One of the last arcs is my second or third favorite in anime and the cast is my second favorite behind HxH so I definitely enjoyed it, I just don't think it's fair to brush over the beginning when it's not as good as the later parts.

Sorry for the rant, if you ever feel like picking it up let me know on your progress!

(First timer here)

Wow. Just like that, Youpi is a goner? Really? When Pitou died at Gon's hands, I felt a sharp sense of loss because it was so sudden, but this was so abrupt that it doesn't even register. I almost don't believe that Youpi is dead because there's no sense of closure. first-timer speculation

I like how pragmatic Palm has become, but I don't think I can support what is essentially stuffing Komugi in a coffin while she's still alive. I don't care that it's always dark where Komugi is, that's too cruel to do to a cute! As for Palm's words, they weren't making any sense to me, at least on my first run of the episode. I would have thought "Deadline x To x Live" referred to the humans and their allies if they didn't cooperate, but apparently it references the King? Does it have to do with the nosebleeds that were affecting him, Pouf and Youpi this episode ? [speculation](/s "That was my first thought at least, but upon watching Palm's scenes again, I realized the alternative. When she declared "Within the next few hours, the King will die," the picture shown had a rose on it along with a skull and Meruem's face. On its own, that implies that the government will realize that Netero has failed and that they'll bomb the palace using a Miniature Rose. If that wasn't enough, they straight up showed a Miniature Rose explosion when Palm said ''What we're doing is cruel. We are no different from them. No… We are far worse!'' If that's what's going to happen, it makes sense why they'd hide Komugi in a box as deep underground as they could manage, but I still don't like any part of this plan. Of course, it IS possible that the nosebleeds and headaches take their toll on the King and Pouf to the point where bombing isn't necessary. Sacrificing those 4.5 millions lives seems real bad to me, but it's really because characters I like are there. Don't bomb the Knuckle. :(")

I don't know whether getting his memories back will hasten any deterioration that may be happening to him, but I am happy that Meruem is getting closer to at least remembering Komugi. Getting back your waifu is worth risking your laifu.

(Sorry for being so late, too busy playing Magic: the Gathering. At least I did well, woooo.)

I like how pragmatic Palm has become, but I don't think I can support what is essentially stuffing Komugi in a coffin while she's still alive. I don't care that it's always dark where Komugi is, that's too cruel to do to a cute!

Agreed 🙁 it makes me sad to see them really treat Komugi as a hostage and how can she breathe in that box??

Getting back your waifu is worth risking your laifu.

Fingers crossed this happens!

First timer here.

Another episode that spared us more of the tragedy with Gon and Killua!!

Welfin and Ikalgo have a very interesting talk, and who would have thought Gyro and their old connections with him would come up yet again! Ikalgo asks Welfin to deliver a message to the King for him, and after telling Welfin his old name, he's quite convinced to help. What's surprising me even more are the references to Gyro. Will he become important yet? Is he one of the other Ant soldiers, or perhaps even a more important figure?? I can't imagine they keep referring to him for no good reason, so I'm very intrigued to see if that plays into the story at all.

Welfin leads the captive women to relative safety, and upon exiting the underground area, he's confronted by Youpi! Welfin has committed to the human side now, so he delivers the message, but then confronts Youpi with Missile Man! Youpi grins back through a bloody nose, and later we find out he dies in this confrontation! Or at least very much appears to be dead, and Meruem and Pouf display signs of bloody noses and coughs too! What!? Don't tell me the anime cold of death is what will finish these guys off!!! XD

For reals though, Palm and Ikalgo are watching over Komugi, and Palm alludes to the fact that Meruem will die within the next few hours! WTF!? How does she know these things!?!? And on top of that, they hide Komugi and decide to buy time until Meruem dies!! ;_; If they don't get to see each other again… fuck. I'm def gonna be heartbroken. 🙁

This episode def set up some interesting things, and I'm just wondering how the hell Palm knows anything about the King and Royal Guard situation. Somehow a disease, or Nen ability has to be at work here, but I'm just amazed about one thing. And that one thing is the fact that Meruem has become a favorite character of mine right now, and I'll be so sad to see him go out by way of some underhanded illness. ;_; Not saying I'll be disappointed in the way he story handles it, if that's the case. Just sad to see a treasured character go… 🙁

First time viewer here:

Nice episode, things are starting to wrap up.

Ikalgo plans to use Welfin as a messenger to set a trap. He wants him to tell either the King himself or the Royal Guards that Komugi is being held in Bizeff's secret town. Welfin goes after hearing that Ikalgo was one of his comrades when they were still humans even though he doesn't remember his name.

Youpi who was waiting for Pitou sees Welfin come out and stops him. Welfin relays the message and wants to ask some questions so he prepares Missileman.

The King finds one of the pieces he used to play gungi and he remembers that he still hasn't defeated his opponent, not even once.

Pouf after taking too long on spreading his pollen returns to the palace and spots a dead Youpi. Pouf thinks he has been killed but it was hinted through all this episode that he wasn't in real good condition since he kept coughing a lot and in the last scene when confronting Welfin he got a nosebleed.

He reports this to the King who asks where Pitou is. Pouf wants to leave the duel to a less important aspect since he found Youpi dead. Meruem basically lets Pouf know that he either lost or he cancelled the duel so he has to tell him what he knows.

Palm explains Ikalgo that the King probably can't tell where Komugi is if she is well covered, so she plans to hide her really well to buy time until Meruem dies. She deduces this after seeing Youpi's body and she is right, we already saw Meruem getting a nosebleed this episode. They hide Komugi in a storage room, inside a wooden box. Palm says that they are probably more cruel than the Chimera Ants.

Episode ends with Pouf desperately asking Pitou to return when he also starts coughing and sees blood.

Okay, it was interesting to see that Welfin realized that his enemies are the Chimera Ants after what Ikalgo told him. Also I didn't expect the Royal Guards to die in the order they did. My guess was: Pouf, Youpi, Pitou but I'm getting exactly the opposite. If the King doesn't die during a final fight (which seems like it is going to be like this) at least I want him to meet Komugi once more.

Daily MVP

Going to give it to Ikalgo for remembering Welfin's name and for reminding him of their past friendship and loyalty to Gyro which lead to Welfin being a boss this episode.

Today's episode is brought to you by Gyro: Even now he is somehow still relevant!

So apparently Ikalgo was also a subordinate of Gyro. For a guy who doesn't really get any on screen time, he sure has a lot of importance. The fact that Welfin is willing to trust Ikalgo shows a huge development in his character.

The big surprise though: Youpi is dead! And offscreen too! I love the foreshadowing that happens before Palm's statement. We see Youpi bleed, and then we see Meruem bleed too. Apparently, according to Palm, Meruem is going to die very shortly. The rose image with the skeletal hand really is a nice touch.

Of course, we have already seen one case where Meurem survived when he wasn't supposed to. Is he strong enough to survive anyway?

More like can he survive playing gungi by himself and losing…to himself.

I'm in a sour mood today because of various problems. Maybe Pouf will die.

That's right without Pitou all the soldiers have passed out.

Youpi keeps coughing. That's concerning.

Welfin has pointed his weapon at Youpi. Rip Welfin. Youpi's nose started to bleed oh man what's happening to him?

Wait wtf rip Youpi instead? Welfin must be stronger than I thought. Youpi seemed to be sick somehow though so that probably didn't help. Why is it that Pouf has managed to be the last Royal Guard living when he sucks so much?

Jesus christ poor Komugi. Put in a box on a shelf. What if she gets hungry?

Shit both Meruem and Pouf are losing blood as well. What's going on was the site of the bomb radioactive and it's slowly killing them?

Great episode. Pouf didn't die though.

Episode 133 Backgrounds

So the ants are dying, which is interesting. I'm wondering how Palm knows. It's not a lifespan issue since most ants have a lifespan of at least 12 years, so what exactly is going on with them? Will Palm and Ikalgo die too?

I wonder if Youpi died from this weird sickness or if Welfin killed him though? He didn't look burned so I feel like it was the sickness, now I'm just wondering where Welfin went.

Rewatcher

Palm: Continues to be amazing. Her eye power kind of confuses me but she only adds people to her watch list when she watches them with just her right eye? She does some reasoning that is worthy of Kilua. I am not sure if Palm is right here or if it is just a mix of memory loss. komugi being unconscious, komugi's nen not being active. But when the King scanned them he registered palm as human so maybe he did scan Komugi and not palm? I dunno. I am giving Palm best little shit for prophesying the King's death but not explaining it. major hxh spoilers The only problem Palm is that if you die Komugi is going to starve to death. I appreciate this line a lot. She won't let the King see the woman he cares about before he dies. Cause he must die and humanity must live. Humanity is a collective asshole. Can I give all of humanity best little shit?

Meruem: Is so close yet so far. He remembers the game but not the other player. Congrats on finally winning something Meruem, we haven't seen him win something since he played one of the other board game masters (he didn't win against Netero he just survived it).

Youpie: Like a bug on a windshield. All is fair in love and hide and seek. I am legit kid of sad Youpie is dead. hxh spoilers Why does chibi youpie have a helmet? Is it cause he wants t be pilot? He was the goofiest royal guard as well as kind of the scariest from a certain perspective. He died as he lived. being Youpie and no one else. Knuckle had a big impact on him but he never joined team human. Instead he dies facing off against Welfin hxh spoilers All this nose bleeding just makes me think of the fact that in some anime nosebleeds are sign or arousal, so youpie got so turned on by Welfin's rockets that he fucking died.

Pouf: is the last royal guard standing. And he has no idea what is happening. Why must the one I hate the most be best at not dying. KILL HIM. He doesn't even look sad at Youpie's death just angry confusion. GOOD DIE! or should best little shit be who or whatever is killing off the royal guard? hxh spoilers

Ikalgo: Gets my favourite line of the episode. The only problem is that ikalgo and welfin are part of that they but they also aren't. Memory is a powerful thing. He is a good driver please let him rest. The light banter between him and Welfin kind of hints they used to be friends, like a true bro Ikalgo doesn't remember his old name but he remembers welfin and razor.

Ahhh, it's kinda annoying watching welfin-shenanigans while more important stuff are happening elsewhere, but when you think about it, it's quite the clever way to fill time. When Gon waited for an hour, they showed you every event that transpired during. When Killua had limited time in his Godspeed mode, they portrayed that accurately. It's just that this arc handles time in linear mode differently than usual that it seems stretched out.
