All of these policies form the basis of school life.
The Sixth Project “Languages of the world”.
Education does not have any frontiers in opportunities of learning.
A student participates in a broad education through the experience of studying another language and the culture of different countries. Social success is only possible if he possesses good communication skills.
Our school has programmes in the Russian language and ICT. Since 1988 we have had a programme with the languages of the world. The aim of which is to learn one or more world languages – European, Chinese, Japanese. Our students also learn about the culture of these countries.
The Chinese language was first taught in 2004 and our school leavers have the opportunity to take examinations FCE, CAE and Grundstuffe in German.
The Partners of the programme are the British Council, the Gorthe Institute, the Embassy of the Chinese Republic in Moscow And the Association of teachers of the French language.

Our School Development Plan includes three main objects: the quality of education process, the quality of education resources and the quality of the education results. For us the universal result means the following – to make our students socially successful. The quality of their life really matters for us. The aim of the programme is to achieve the international standard ISO – 9000. Total Quality Education is the base for this programme.

Educational environment of the school has got about 600 computers (PC, MAC, notebooks) working in a local net and more than 20 servers (proxy-servers, file-servers, firewalls)/ Besides, there are different demonstrational equipment, such as interactive whiteboards, plasma screens, projectors, digital laboratories for Science, digital microscopes, Lego-constructors, language laboratories, etc. Libraries and access to Internet are available in each building.
Modern education is first of all the ability to work with information, to be able to search it without any help of a tutor or a teacher. The aim of this programme is to give every participant of education process a wide access to different types of information.
Providing the teachers with modern notebooks and software, school administration is working for training of a new generation of teachers, who will be able to use modern technologies at their lessons and make the teaching and learning process more effective.
Microsoft Learning Gateway (used within the framework of a joint Microsoft project) provided the opportunity for increasing the effectiveness of teacher’s work, for improving the organization of test work and finding new forms of organizing students’ work.
